Individual, couples and group counseling for mental health needs, such as, anxiety, depression, anger, conflict, aging, grief/loss, transitions, trauma, abuse, substance abuse, self-esteem, and adoption. Catholic Social Services also provides financial assistance (when funds available), emergency shelter, shelter for homeless families, low-income housing options, HIV/AIDS services, and immigration/citizenship/refugee services. Bethesda House of Catholic Charities 

A referral is required from your primary MD for BHCC services. BHCC is a drop-in center that provides support services for persons with HIV/AIDS diagnosis. Services include case management (to link persons with services and financial assistance), library, shower/laundry facilities, clothes, food pantry, monthly bus pass for $15, access to computers for job search.

Psychiatrists, Psychiatric ARNP’s, Psychologists, LCSW, and an LMFT. Two main divisions: 1) Behavior Health Services and 2) Targeted Case Management. Behavioral Health Services include: individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy; psychiatry and medication management; and psychological evaluations and treatment. Payment options include: Medicare, Medicaid HMOs and some BC/BS Insurance. Targeted Case Management is available for persons with a primary psychiatric DX and a need for supportive services to assist with stabilization. Services include: assessment and service planning; advocacy; linking to community resources; and monitoring. Targeted Case Management is covered by Medicaid Managed Care plans and private pay.
